The Tactical Tailor Fight Light MALICE Pack Frame is the result of our desire to improve on a decades old design. We took the original ALICE Pack frame design that has remained virtually unchanged for 50 years, combined it with their own military experience and then asked the guys in the field how they would do it, and this is the result. The Tactical Tailor frame is built from light weight, ASTM B221 conforming aluminum tubing, giving a 30% reduction in weight compared to similar competitor's aftermarket pack frames, while increasing strength and rigidity over the issue ALICE pack frame. They know that in the field, every ounce saved counts. All rivets have been replaced with welded joints for strength - no more popped rivets - as well as eliminating sharp edges to snag gear on. The frame is now STRILLS compatible and the redesigned crossbar bends away from the body, creating space between the pack and your back. This provides better airflow, keeping you cooler and also provides a space wide enough to go around standard sized (10"x12") back hard plates. Available in Coyote Brown. Made in the USA!

Tactical Tailor MALICE Pack Frame - STRILLS Compatible

Posted by Randy on 16th Dec 2023

Received the Malice Pack Frame on time. I currently have the Old Alice pack frame and this purchase was for my son in TBS for the Marines. When comparing the Malice and the Alice a lot stands out. The Malice is noticeably lighter than the Alice pack frame. The Alice pack frame uses rivets and the Malice pack frame is welded. I do not hump with the Marines anymore but I do hike a lot in the mountains. Reduction in weight is a must. Using the Malice pack frame helps with over all weight. I am happy with the purchase. My son said this thing will last him for his 20 + years in the Corps.
