This heavyweight protective balaclava from Blackhawk is made entirely from fire-resistant 7.4 ounce DuPont Nomex, and designed to keep tactical and emergency personnel safe in hazardous environments. The advanced meta-aramid fabric is extremely flash and flame-resistant, and will not catch fire at temperatures less than 800 degrees Fahrenheit. It features a small face opening and an extended bib, providing increased coverage for the head and neck. It is sewn together using flat-seam stitching, preventing it from chafing and rubbing as you move and allowing it to be worn comfortable underneath a helmet.
